Manifestation without alignment is just wishful thinking

Just “ask and you’ll receive” they say... It will be easy they say…

Yeah… I think we’ve all realized by now it’s not quite that simple.

There is a HUGE caveat to manifesting your dream life that nobody talks about. (Except me. Hi, I’m Kelsey. I teach people how to actually align with their best life. Welcome!)

The truth is, it only works how they say it does when you’re already in alignment with what you’ve asked for. Without that alignment aspect, there’s an added step, making your manifestation process look more like this:

1. Ask for what you want.

2. Align with what you want (cough, cough. read my upcoming book The Manifesting Fix).

3. Then receive.

This is why it’s not always enough to just set your intentions and hope for the best. If you’re not energetically aligned with what you want, it’s likely not going to happen until you are.

The real work comes after setting your intentions. It’s the part of the creation process where you evaluate yourself and your life in order to create more harmony and bridge the gap from where you are to where you are going. The growth in transitioning from who you are now to the person who has what you want is the alignment process (and the real reason why you want what you want in the first place).

Sure, you might want the sports car, glute growth, fat raise, or a simple nervous system reset, but what you honestly want is to embody your highest potential and become the version of you who has the ability to create and receive all those experiences.

It’s the becoming that is most satisfying—not necessarily the receiving. Of course, the receiving part is also pretty nice, but more so a cherry on top when you’re already living a super aligned life.

How to become the person who already has it

Pick a goal that’s top priority for you right now. Then ask yourself these questions to help you start aligning with it:

✨ What thoughts do I need to think to support myself in going for this?

✨ What beliefs would be helpful to have to energize me around this goal and feel like it’s really possible for me?

✨ What actions can I take to move the needle on this today/this week?

✨ How can I reframe setbacks or challenges as part of the alignment process instead of evidence it's not working?

✨ What actions, habits, distractions take me further away from this goal when I do them?

✨ What old stories or narratives am I still believing that contradict this goal?

✨ How does the version of me living this goal move through their day? What's their morning routine, their pace, physical presence, emotional state?
